The USA Clay Target League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The League is the independent provider of clay target shooting sports for secondary and postsecondary schools. The League’s priority are safety, fun, and marksmanship – in that order.
With over 44,000 students participating each year and growing, the USACTL is the largest clay target shooting program in the world – and every team is 100% SCHOOL APPROVED!
100,000 Student Athletes Nationwide in 2025!
In the last decade, the USA High School Clay Target League has grown from 30 students athletes on three teams in Minnesota to more than 44,000 registered athletes across over 1,500 teams nationwide. And with the recent introduction of the USA College Clay Target League, students are now able to continue pursuing the sport they love throughout post-secondary education.
The fun won’t stop after college. League participation has allowed students of all backgrounds and abilities to experience a safe, fun, community-oriented sport that they can participate in for the rest of their lives.
Along with the friendships, skills and passion cultivated through the League, clay target athletes carry something even greater—our country’s heritage. They are the next generation of shooting sports enthusiasts; the future of our outdoor recreation clubs, conservation efforts and so much more. That’s why it’s important to maintain the momentum.
