The USA Clay Target League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is the independent provider of clay target shooting sports as an activity to secondary and post-secondary schools and homeschool students. This is accomplished by providing a safe, comfortable, positive team environment that enhances a student athlete’s character and personal growth through safe, educational and socially acceptable involvement in shooting sports.
A bright and enthusiastic individual seeking to grow into a developing career in the marketing field. You will provide valuable marketing and support to a small team and you must be comfortable carrying out routine tasks individually as part of the team. As a confident communicator and self-motivator, you will also liaise with potential supporters, vendors, and participants of the League.
You will support League staff in various marketing and administrative tasks while understanding of the company’s concepts, products, practices, and procedures. Qualified candidates for this position must have a passion for excellence with outstanding communication and organizational skills.
The League will provide a professional working environment and learning opportunities to help you develop knowledge and skills that will help you achieve your education and career goals.
Assists with content maintenance of all websites using WordPress.
Assist with set-up, registration, vendor coordination, fulfillment, and sales at select tournaments.
Assist with fulfilling and shipping League awards, patches, and tournament packages.
Assist with monitoring and posting social media posts.
Assist with PullUSA Magazine content, proofing and mailing list.
Assist with email creation and list management.
Conducts research and builds databases for potential supporters.
Attends meetings when requested.
Completes all other assignments as required by League management.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.
Proficient administrative and IT skills (including Word & Excel).
Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational, planning, project management, and customer support skill.
Post-secondary education graduation is primary goal.
Early/Mid-May – Early/Mid-August
Approximately 20-25 hours per week (regular schedule TBD). Some post-tournament weekend minor content updates may be required.
Attend Minnesota Trapshooting Championship for 2-3 days in Alexandria, Minnesota in June, TBD.
Possible attendance at National Championship early July in Mason, MI TBD.
